Ourlads' Profile:
2021 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about LEVI ONWUZURIKE: Washington, 6027 290 4.88. Two-year starter, Allen, TX. Opted out of the 2020 season. First-team All-Pac 12 in 2019. Was a key part of a very talented Washington defense. Mainly responsible for interior penetration that stemmed from his speed and burst with ability to twist and turn his body. There was a lot of inconsistency on tape with his technique however. His pad level was all over the place despite having enough flexibility in his knees and ankles and it forced him into a lot of ineffective snaps. He did on occasion flash the ability to shoot a gap and disrupt the quarterback’s ability to step up in the pocket. Long strider with build up speed in space. Has a quality athletic profile with a wide frame that should be able to handle more muscle mass. A disruptive interior pass rusher who can make himself thin and slippery along the inside gaps. Shows fast and twitchy hands when engaged with the blocker. Explosive closing burst when he gets near the ball. Can bend well at the ankles. Versatile tool set that will play more stout than he looks. Inconsistent when it comes to the skill set. Plays too high off the ball and struggles to maintain lockout positioning. Doesn’t play to his physical gifts often enough. Gets ridden out of plays and shows questionable effort play to play. Needs to refine his rush moves and stop exposing so much of his breast plate to blockers. 2019 stats; 45 T, 6 TFL, 2 sacks, 1 BK. Fourth/ fifth round. (A-32 1/2, H-10 1/4, BP-29, 10-1.70).
