Ourlads' Profile:

2021 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about TEVEN JENKINS: Oklahoma State, 6052 320 5.01. Four-year starter, Topeka, KS. Earned first-team All Big 12 honors in 2020 after being named Honorable Mention in both 2018 and 2019. Has experience at both tackle spots, although he was predominantly on the right side. An old school mauler who cherishes the opportunity to run block. He already has man strength and it was evident he was playing against boys at times in college. He checks the boxes when it comes to size, playing strength, and attitude. Needs to clean up his essential and vital techniques. His pad level and base-width are all over the place when it comes to consistency and it has produced more than his fair share of ugly tape. The starter potential is there, and the issues are correctable. Enormous frame with all of the desired height, weight, and length. Brings a bruiser’s mentality to the field that will immediately increase the nastiness of the offensive line he joins. Excels as a run blocker then he plays a gap and gets off the ball correctly. Will lock his hands inside while keeping his feet active. Plays hard through the whistle. Works hard to get across a defender and wants to drive block him out of the parking lot. Athletic enough to handle the speed rush. Initial hand contact has the potential to stifle even the strongest and most powerful pass rushers. Has the capability of bending his knees with his chest up and proper balance. Energetic player with the violent, explosive twitch. Inconsistent with a lot of important techniques.  Will get high out of his stance at times, notably in pass protection. Sets himself up for poor, off-balanced adjustments. Base gets too narrow and it will cause him to topple over. Spends too much time on the ground. Too often goes for a knockout blow rather than a bunch of controlled jabs. Strikeout or homerun type pass blocker. Needs to clean up his body and be more in tune with what is going on head to toe. Second/third round. (A-33 1/2, H-9 1/2, BP-36, 10-1.77).
