Ourlads' Profile:
2021 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about CHRISTIAN BARMORE: Alabama, 6041 310 4.98. Third year sophomore entry, one-year starter, Philadelphia, PA. Was heavily involved in the defensive rotation both seasons. First-team All SEC last fall. Appears to be the next in line from the Alabama program that has been pumping quality defensive linemen into the NFL for years. Has just as much natural talent and upside of those who came before him, but he is slightly behind in the technique and consistency realms. Checks all the boxes when looking at measurables and there have been several flashes of him tying it all together. The height, length, and frame make him an attractive asset to try and develop. Inconsistent within a few key, borderline vital components to the position. High risk, high reward player that can be an every down force if he cleans things up. The talent is there. Mammoth frame that matches elite scores on all levels. Tall, long, and wide. Has a tool set that promotes high end potential and ceiling. Can get off the ball in a hurry and shows a quick and violent upper body. Shoots gap with big time quickness. Creates speed in a hurry when getting off blocks, showing the ability to close a gap in a hurry. Rangy player in space stemming from his long frame and quality explosion. Violent player with natural power. Still developing and started to really turn it on down the stretch of 2020. Has all the tools to be a dominant every down player. Inconsistent techniques and impact. Has a lot of Jekyl and Hyde in his game. Needs to get the inside position more often. Will fire off the ball showing his numbers to the blocker. Doesn’t have enough leg drive to get away with that. Will stand tall and lose his anchor, giving up too much ground against the running game. Pro day numbers: 4.75/SS, 7.81/3 cone. 2020 stats: 37 T, 9.5 TFL, 8 sacks, 3 PBU, 6 QBH, 3 FF. First round. (A-33 5/8, H-10, BP-NA, 10-1.76).
