Outstanding length for the position he possesses fluid movement skills and agility. Easily changes direction reacting in coverage. Has experience in press man, Cover 3, and quarters. Will align both off and in press using a variety of techniques as an outside corner. In press he is adept at stabbing with an off-hand jam. He has the patience to ignore the first move at the line. Also plays a more reactive press and is very sticky. Can mirror route breaks and adjust to changes in speed. Rarely beaten deep he has outstanding playing speed to stay with speed receivers. Quick with a lateral run on the snap in off coverage while normally keeping a good cushion. Gets downhill in a hurry with the ball in the air on quick routes. Fluid hips allows easy lateral and turn and run transitions. More than willing in run support, his quickness downhill allows him to slip blocks on the move. Uses long arms to control and shed stalk blocks. He made a lot of tackles close to the line. He will have to develop using a more traditional backpedal for most NFL teams as there are some different transitions from what he normally uses. While his cover skills are solid he lacks ball production which is somewhat concerning. Has the tools but there have been times he is in perfect position in phase and given up a catch in tight quarters. He needs to do a better job of locating the ball and finding the catch point. He has some development ahead of him as far as technique but his upside and athletic ability are unmistakable. 2020 stats: 29 T, 3 TFL, 5 PBU, 1 QBH, 1 INT. Second/third round.
