As an athlete and receiver, however, Pitts has all the tools to be a dominant force. His long and twitchy frame shows fluidity and bend when attacking the ball in the air. Has elite speed and leaping ability for the position. He understands route running and displays receiver-type ball skills. Has all the tools to be an immediate force in the passing game and if his lack of inline presence can be shaded for the most part, he can be a big-time asset in any pro offense. A matchup nightmare that stems from his enormous catch radius, receiver-type ball skills, and elite athletic ability. Can run the entire route tree. Uses his body to box out defenders underneath and uses great extension to attack the ball. Shows power presence and toughness in traffic. Can get over the top and knife up the seam. Averaged just under 18 yards per catch on 43 receptions in 2020. Competitive after the catch. Shows a strong stiff arm, late wiggle, and breakaway speed. Has dominant traits in the end zone. Willing and feisty blocker who uses his reach for quality lockout positioning. Will bring the effort every down no matter his role. Slender body frame that may have issues adding and keeping on the necessary bulk to handle inline duties. Mostly lined up split out rather than with his hand in the dirt.
