Was honorable mention All-Big 12 last fall. Has long arms and a 85 1/8 inch wing span that helps wall off pass rushers in pass protection. A position wall off blocker who works to turn the pass rusher out of the hole. A developmental tackle who bends at the waist instead of moving his feet. He lacks the hip and lower body bend to leverage defensive linemen off the ball in the run game. Plays at times like his feet are in mud. Struggles to redirect against inside slants and counters. Really struggled at left tackle in the Senior Bowl where he was repeatedly beaten off the edge for pressures and sacks. He was moved to right tackle with tight end help so Jalen Hurts wouldn’t wind up in the hospital. Played in a two point stance in college and will need work to pop up from having his hand on the ground. Athletic with fringe flexibility. OSR:14/41. Seventh round/PFA.
