A dislocated elbow ended his junior campaign three games early. Is one of the most physical backs in the class and it shows up within multiple phases. With the ball in his hands, he can take on big contact and stone the defender, maintaining his center of gravity, and continue to move north. As a pass blocker, he is often the aggressor who will stand the blitzer up and finish him off. Has a lot of value to a team that wants a backup right away to handle third down duties without giving up too much in the running game. He has starter traits to develop but at the very least will be a solid backup. Densely built athlete that plays bigger than listed. Absorbs a full force from a defender while maintaining his center of gravity. Has the look of a boulder against tacklers and blitzers. Strong, naturally powerful athlete who can create tremendous torque from his base. A top-shelf blocker. Will run away from pursuers in space. Had three rushes of over 50 yards in 2019, tied for the ACC lead. Can make the circus catch away from his body. Has soft hands with natural coordination. Has a strong feel and anticipation for where the lanes will appear. A run-hard downhill back who will deliver the blow. Struggles to make the quick decisions when running laterally. Timing seems off outside the tackles. Not patient enough when the initial running lane is clogged. Will drop the easy catch from time to time, doesn’t always complete the process before moving north. Had a fumble issue in 2018 and still showed too much space between his body and the ball last season. 2019 stats: 693 yds, 6.0 ypc, 8 TD, 14 rec, 140 yds, 10 ypr, 2 TD. OSR:22/33. Fourth/fifth round.
