Ourlads' Profile:

2020 Guide: What Ourlads' Scouting Services said about COLE KMET: Notre Dame, 6056 262 4.69. Junior entry, one-year starter, Lake Barrington, IL. Was the team’s number two receiver despite missing the first two games with a broken collar bone. Kmet is one of the more NFL-ready tight ends in the class. His size, strength at the point of attack, and soft hands will make him an every-down player. He will be able to get open against NFL safeties and cover linebackers. His length and ability to box out defenders like a power forward can make him an underneath and red zone threat. Strong and tall with big hands and long arms. Classic Y-tight end build. Lined up all over the formation and was in motion often pre-snap. He can move bodies in the trenches, smoothly bring the ball in, and break tackles after the catch. Has a powerful initial punch as a blocker. Will act as a sixth lineman at times. Seamless transition from catch to tuck as he moves north ready to run over anyone in his path. A strong, manly presence on the field that will be able to handle NFL power right away. Will get to balls away from his body. Very smooth and controlled as a receiver. Plays tight as both a route runner and blocker. Needs to work on his leverage. Slow to accelerate as a vertical route runner. Inconsistent to make sharp cuts in and out of his breaks. 2019 stats: 43-515, 12.0 ypr, 6 TD. OSR:4/19. Second/third round. (A-33, H-10 1/2, VJ-37, SS-4.41).
