Ourlads' Profile:
2015 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about STEFON DIGGS: Maryland, 6000 195 4.43. Junior entry. Three-year starter from Gaithersburg, MD. A vertical threat playmaker with the type of athleticism that can take the top off of a defense. Versatile player who can contribute in a variety of ways on offense as well as on special teams as a return specialist. Showed improved effort in blocking this season compared to last. Team leader in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns. Four 100-yard receiving games in 2014. Big questions surrounding his durability as he suffered a season ending injury with a broken fibula in 2013 and also missed games in 2014 with a lacerated kidney. There is potential for him to fit in nicely with an NFL team at the next level as a Swiss-army-knife type starter that can be used as a deep threat or return specialist weapon. Very good quickness, acceleration, and speed for the position. Very athletic, especially after the catch. Produces with the ball in his hands. Does well when he is given the ball on short routes such as bubble screens, or when he is given the opportunity to use his speed one on one to beat a defender deep down the field. Good burst and long speed. Extends and plucks ball out of air with soft hands. Poor route runner at times with the tendency to round off patterns. Occasionally disinterested as a blocker. Suspended one game in 2014 as a result of a sportsmanship violation. 2014 stats: 62-792, 12.8 ypr, 5 TD. OSR:25/40. Fourth/fifth round. (A-31 1/4, H-10, VJ-35, SS-4.32).
