Three time all-conference honors as well as two years all-academic mention. Was voted Division II All-America in 2018 and was the first player from Sioux Falls ever invited to the Combine. A small college left tackle talent with length and long arms that competed well all week at the East-West Shrine practices. A good zone blocking and head placement athlete. Was not out of place with the major college stars. Has a thick lower body that helps him anchor a bull rush. Plays well in space on screens and pulls to perimeter. Struggled at times on edge speed rushers, but improved technique. Received reps at guard and tackle during the week. Dominated his Division II league for three years. Raw but athletic. Has a bag full of tools that just need to be developed. Needs to coordinate his hands with his feet in pass pro more consistently. A year in the weight room building his core strength will do wonders for his pro career. Pipkins has a moderate deficiency in offensive line skill level, but has ascending talent. OSR:8/39.
