Ourlads' Profile:

2019 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about TERRY MCLAURIN: Ohio State, 6001 208 4.32. Fifth year senior and two-plus year starter from Indianapolis, IN. While the volume of looks wasn’t exactly high for McLaurin, he made the most of his opportunities, most notably downfield. Averaged nearly 17 yards per catch over his career with a notable 20 yards per catch last fall along with 11 touchdowns. The speedster shows potential as a diverse route runner and big time playmaker that may be budding at the right time. There are holes in his game when it comes to short area burst and separation paired with playing strength shortcomings, but a deep threat with his special teams versatility is worth the day three look. Big play threat with legit top shelf long speed and ability to track the ball. Brings the athletic ability to the table as a route runner. Fluidity and easiness from his lower half. Shows burst as both a vertical and lateral mover. Can alter his weight and direction while moving in a high gear. Trustworthy when it comes to finding the lanes and windows, very quarterback-friendly player. Adds defensive special teams prowess. Playing strength doesn’t show up after the catch, in traffic, or as a blocker. Plays a little soft and the aggression switch isn’t always turned on. Slow starter that really needs a lot of space to reach the top speed. Will struggle to get off the quality jam by a physical corner. 2018 stats: 35-701, 20.0 ypr, 11 TD. OSR:4/42. Fourth/fifth round. (A-31 1/2, H-9 1/8, VJ-37.5, SS-4.16).
