Ourlads' Profile:

2018 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about NICK CHUBB: Georgia, 5107 227 4.52. Four-year rotation starter with Sony Michel. From Cedartown, GA. Only Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker has rushed for more career yards at Georgia and in the SEC than Chubbs’s 4769 yards. Natural vision and patience. Can feel where the defense is, and is not. Has the sturdy base to take hits as he shifts his way through traffic without being knocked off his intention. Balance and core strength are top tier. Can afford to wait the extra second because of his short area burst and explosion. Runs hungry, always wanting more. Runs with the proper lean and will consistently fall forward. Picks up the hidden yards. Takes advantage of poor tackling efforts. Smart, rarely makes the wrong decision with the ball in his hands. Lateral quickness and change of direction seem difficult and tight. Needs the extra step or two before he really gets going. Not as effective outside the tackles. The long speed isn’t enough to run away from defensive backs. Rarely used as a receiver, just 13 catches over the past three seasons combined. Enters the league with a surgically repaired knee and three seasons of 200+ carries. Burst onto the scene in 2014, averaging 7.1 yards per carry while filling in for Todd Gurley and winning the SEC Freshman of the Year award. Started 2015 off on the same foot, averaging 8.1 yards per carry before going down with a knee injury that sidelined him for the rest of the year and required surgery. Had two straight bounce back seasons, proving he is full strength as he enters his NFL career. An old school, between the tackles bruiser with good vision and ability to break tackles. His game is limited, but he is close to a sure bet for being a quality back in a committee approach. 2017 stats: 1345 yds, 6 ypc, 15 TD, 4 rec, 30 yds, 7.5 ypr. OSR:4/29. Second/third round. (A-32, H-9 5/8, BP-29, SS-4.25).
