A bully on the field who will put defenders through the ground. Early power off the snap that stays through the engagement. Hands are heavy and strong. Derives a ton of power from his lower body and will effectively roll his hips as a run blocker. Rarely gets moved backwards. Can maintain his balance on the move in space as a lead blocker. Plenty of experience and success against both speed and strength. Inconsistent technique. Will have a hard time mirroring defenders in space as a pass protector. Needs to show more knee bend. Appears to have some conditioning issues. Has some minor off-field issues that need to be checked out. Dawkins is a little bit raw in small areas of his game, but he has steadily improved each season of his career, showing that he is very coachable and still very much on the rise. Has a natural and always-present level of power that you simply cannot teach. His future is likely at guard or right tackle in the league.
