Ourlads' Profile:
2017 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about GARETT BOLLES: Utah, 6050 297 4.98. Junior entry from Lehi, UT. One-year starter. Transfer from Snow Junior College. Plays with attitude and effort. Good quickness off the snap. His body control and the ability to sustain is first round caliber. Gets quick control in the run game. Lines up in a two-point stance and is ready for all-comers in the short passing game. Good lateral quickness and shuffle ability. Has more than enough speed to get outside to occupy corners. He can also make a stand and anchor power rushers with his knee bend. The 25-year old rookie-to-be physically locks out with his hands on the defensive ends and gives them a good two-arm push. Maintains balance when sliding with his man. Has all the physical tools to succeed but will need technique work to elevate his game. Needs better stability and core strength. Needs more sink on and after contact. Had a very rocky teenage stage of his life but is more than a few years removed from it and appears to be on track. His athleticism and hand strength are among the best in this class. His progression will need to come once he gets into an NFL strength and conditioning program. In a weak tackle class, Bolles could be the top prospect. OSR:1/41. First round. (A-34 1/2, H-9 3/8, BP-DNP, 10-1.74).
