*Denotes Underclassman
Texas - 6040 / 230 | RS JR
Two-year starter, New Orleans, LA. Very well-balanced muscular frame with functional thickness below the waist to support contact in and out of the pocket. Capable of creating with his legs in space once he finds green. Has true runaway speed. Rapid release capable of putting all the velocity he needs to different levels of the defense. Fires the ball with maximum speed and RPM’s without warning. Explosive trigger with tremendous pop. Easy downfield arm strength. At his best when he can create on his own out of structure. Can anticipate pressure, react ahead of time, and make all the throws on the move. Responds well to pressure and rises to the occasion. Plays some of his best football, both as a rusher and passer, when the team’s back is up against the wall. Still shows a lot of volatility to his decision making from the pocket and lacks consistency with both ball placement and touch.
Miami - 6030 / 205 | RS JR
Three-year starter, San Luis Obispo, CA. A smooth and easy thrower who can drop the ball in a bucket at any distance from any angle. Will anticipate windows and line up his lower half ahead of time. Appears to have full comprehension of what the defense is doing pre and post-snap which allows him to stay ahead of schedule. Accuracy down the field stands out as he can layer the ball between levels of the defense, making his ball both catchable and receiver-friendly. Maneuvers through the messy pocket with balance and precision. Great body control and balance capable of slipping out of trouble with his eyes downfield. Careful risk taker who avoids reckless throws but will not shy from trying to fit a ball into tight spots. Top end potential could be limited because he does not have a big, strong frame and he does not have enough arm power to make every throw consistently.
Oklahoma State - 6030 / 215 | RS SO
Two-year starter, Austin, TX. A long and wiry frame with room for bulk. Has a lot of dexterity in his joints from top to bottom, giving him an unusual amount of torque and stride speed. Easy arm power and velocity that can explode from a standstill. A downfield thrower willing to launch vertically into space with plenty of loft to allow his target to locate and adjust. Spins it with ease and has shown the kind of accuracy to help create yards after the catch opportunities for his receiver. Fast, rapid footwork coupled with body control and balance keep his mechanics clean and repeatable. Also a threat as a runner who can run away from second and third level defenders in space. Can sense pressure and shows the toughness to trust his clock while going through reads without the fear of getting hit. Will tend to wait too long and give the defense extra time to adjust in contained space such as the red zone and will simply need more experience to prove he can elevate his game.
Oregon - 6024 / 215 | RS JR
Three-year starter, Detroit, MI. Well-tuned mechanically from top to bottom. Smooth and consistent release to all parts of the field that ties his feet and hips directly to his throwing motion. Puts on display what it should look like when he is not rushed. Strong torque with the ability to spin it well, making his ball both accurate and catchable. Excels at downfield passing and would fit in well to a vertical-heavy attack. Does not need much time to put full velocity into his deep passing. Maintains proper touch to all levels. Plays on time and excels at getting the ball out in a hurry. Understands how and why to play within structure. Sets his receivers up well after the catch. Has put weight on and improved as a runner. Has repeatedly struggled to progress through multiple reads under pressure with poor decisions and flustered footwork which multiply his struggles and turnovers.
5. Sorsby, Brendan
Texas Tech - 6026 / 238 | SR
Three-year starter, Denton, TX. Will sit out all of 2026 because of off-field problems. Both big and athletic with an excellent feel in traffic, both in and out of the pocket. Plays on time and understands the blend of patience to allow things to develop while maintaining urgency in his decision making. Dual threat scored 81 touchdowns (59 through the air, 22 on the ground) over the course of 31 starts with low turnover numbers. Escapes trouble and creates on his own, showing the ability to consistently place the ball accurately both off-schedule and off-platform. Excellent ball handling on RPO’s and play action. Cut down on his fumbles in 2025 with better ball protection tactics, where he had zero fumbles on dropbacks. Fires the ball out from the same release point with snappy power. Will throw anticipation passes over the middle. Above average accuracy to all levels, both with feet planted and on rollouts. Poor success rate on deep balls and does not always show awareness of backside coverage.
