Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 14

With the bye weeks over, the fantasy football waiver wire largely reflect numerous streaming options. And, that’s a good thing heading into Week 14, the week many fantasy football playoffs begin.

There are several waiver wire adds that could help those fantasy football team owners missing players because of injury. In standard leagues, there should be many options for ou to consider.

Last week’s deep sleepers who you can pick-up this week off the waiver wire: Jared Goff, Derrius Guice, Dede Westbrook, and Tyler Higbee.

Don’t add a player to your fantasy football team if you don’t need one. “(S)” indicates a streaming option this week.

QUARTERBACKS

1          Ryan Tannehill (S), Titans

2          Kyle Allen (S), Panthers

3          Jacoby Brissett, Colts

4          Andy Dalton, Bengals

5          Sam Darnold (S), Jets

6          Daniel Jones, Giants

7          Ryan Fitzpatrick, Dolphins

8          Devlin Hodges (S), Steelers

9          Drew Lock (S), Broncos

10        Mitch Trubisky, Bears

It’s stunning both Ryan Tannehill and Kyle Allen are still available in many leagues. They should be owned in all leagues and have great match-ups this week. Despite last week’s dissappointing performance, Sam Darnold remains a solid streaming option against an on-again, off-again Miami Dolphins pass defense.

RUNNING BACKS

1          Devonta Freeman, Faclons

2          Derrius Guice (S), Redskins

3          Jonathan Williams, Colts

4          Raheem Mostert, 49ers

5          Bo Scarbrough, Lions

6          Patrick Laird, Dolphins

7          Benny Snell, Steelers

8          Rashaad Penny, Seahawks

9          Adrian Peterson, Redskins

10        Peyton Barber, Buccaneers

11        Alexander Mattison, Vikings

12        Royce Freeman (S), Broncos

13        Duke Johnson, Texans

Anytime you have an opportunity to add a starting running back off the waiver wire, it’s almost automatic that he is your top add. There are a bunch of starting running backs on the waiver wire this week in many leagues.

Derrius Guice was inclredible last week. Despite a low ranking by most prognosticators, Guice was a featured deep sleeper for us. He’s got another great match-up this week before the schedule stiffens. In deeper leagues, consider Adrian Peterson who should have another respectable game.

The Dolphins Patrick Laird is the new Dolphins starter, or will at least a healthy share of touches, with Kalen Ballagepossibly done for the season with a leg injury.

Keep an eye on Dalvin Cook who left Monday night’s game with a shoulder injury. He says he’s playing but a week off could be good for him. Alexander Mattison is an auto pick-up for Cook fantasy team owners.

Benny Snell remains the Steelers top running back option with James Conner out.

Wide Receivers

1          James Washington (S), Steelers

2          Zach Pascal (S), Colts

3          Mike Williams, Chargers

4          Robby Anderson (S), Jets

5          Russell Gage, Falcons

6          Deebo Samuel, 49ers

7          A.J. Brown, Titans

8          Sterling Shepard (S), Giants

9          Darius Slayton (S), Giants

10        Nelson Agholor (S), Eagles

11        Anthony Miller, Bears

12        Allen Lazard, Packers

Plenty of options in most leagues. Surprised so many good wide receivers are still available in many leagues.

Tight Ends

1          Jack Doyle, Colts

2          Ryan Griffin (S), Jets

3          Kyle Rudolph (S), Vikings

4          Dallas Goedert, Eagles

5          Jason Witten (S), Cowboys

6          Jimmy Graham (S), Packers

7          Tyler Higbee (S), Rams

8          Vance McDonald (S), Steelers

Defenses

1          Jets (v. Dolphins)

2          Packers (v. Redskins)

3          Cowboys (v. Bears)

4          Vikings (v. Lions)

5          Texans (v. Broncos)

6          Dolphins (v. Jets)

7          Eagles (v. Giants)

8          Cardinals (v. Steelers)

FOR WEEK 15:  Chiefs (v. Broncos)

Lots of options this week on the waiver wire. Defenses referenced above each play teams that have either struggled this season or are having problems producing offense due to injuries or poor play.
